Whether you want to experience Boulder the way it's meant to be seen - via eBike - or you're eBike-curious and ready to try one out for yourself -- or both! -- this is a great way to do it. Rent by the half-day or full-day.
Our rental fleet includes several styles of eBikes that feel like they're built for Boulder, including the Rad City and Rad City Step-Thru Commuter Bikes, RadRunner+ and RadWagon Utility Bikes. And, if small children are part of your group, we've got kid cabooses and passenger seats for them.
These comfortable, well-maintained bikes feature electronic pedal-assist -- whenever you turn the cranks, you're going to get a nice, smooth boost from the bike. Whether it's a little or a lot is for you to decide, but you will pretty quickly discover the incredible fun in riding these amazing machines.
All eBike Rentals include Class 2 pedal-assist eBike (with throttle), helmet, bottled water, bike lock, a bike map, and suggestions for where to ride and things to do along the way.

All rides start and end at the JD's Joyrides Bike Shack. The address is:

We can be a little tricky to find as we’re actually off Range St. Google Maps will get you closest.
You’ll find our bike shack in the parking lot BEHIND Updog Day Care:
NOTE: We have plenty of parking. WE DO NOT HAVE RESTROOMS! Please plan accordingly. Thank you!
- From Arapahoe Ave turn north onto Range St
- Make a left into the second parking lot, just past Updog Day Care’s white fence.
- You'll see our bike shack in the back of the lot.
- Please park to the left, in front of the shack.

- Layers (check the forecast on the day of your ride and keep in mind that you'll be traveling at speeds of 10-15 mph)

Before booking, please take note of the important details below:
- The minimum rider age is 12 years (rider must meet minimum height requirement)
- Riders ages 12-17 must be accompanied by parent or adult guardian
- Our minimum rider height requirement is 4'11”
- Our maximum height limit is 6'5"
- Our maximum weight limit is 275 lbs.
- Children: we have utility bikes with a "kid caboose" for children age 4 to 9
- Passengers: we have passenger seats with grab handles and foot pegs for riders age 10 and up (max weight 120 lbs)
- Riders not arriving by scheduled tour/rental start time without at least 15 minutes prior notification will be considered no-shows and surrender their tour/rental booking without refund

Cancellation Policy
Reservations are confirmed when payment is received. Payment is fully refundable if we are informed of your cancellation more than 24 hours in advance of your booking start time.
If reservations are canceled within 24 hours of and by 6pm MT the night before the scheduled start time of your ride or rental, we will issue a 50% refund and convert the other 50% of the balance to a voucher that can be applied toward a future ride or rental.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations after 6pm MT the night before the scheduled ride or rental start time.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows.
We appreciate your understanding.
Weather Policy
Weather conditions can change rapidly in Boulder and safety is our highest priority. If the weather is inclement and not conducive to a safe and pleasant ride or rental, JD's Joyrides will cancel the ride or rental and customers can reschedule for another day or receive a full refund.
Weather cancellations are subject to the sole discretion of JD's Joyrides.
